Arab Festival 2009 – Sharia in the US *Must See*

Received this video in an email with the following information about it below: This is a video of David Wood and Nabeel Qureshi asking questions at Arabfest, Dearborn. The date is June 21st, 2009. There was a booth at the festival which had a banner titled “Islam: Got Questions? Get Answers.” From their table, we picked up a pamphlet claiming that Islam promotes peace. We noticed that it was full of poor logic and errors, so we decided to make a video refuting it. We went to the booth that gave us the pamphlet to give them the opportunity to defend their claims. Security, however, stepped in and forced us to turn off our camera. We left the booth, received advice from police, and found out that the actions of the security guards were illegal. We went back to the booth to record a potential answer again. Realizing that the Muslims present had no answer, we left. When we came outside, we were asked some questions by two young men, who had been sent by security to entrap us. While we responded to them, festival security started assaulting us, as you will see in this video. The conclusion of this video is a mob of festival security attacking our cameras, pushing us back, kicking our legs, and lying to the police. We ask you, is it a coincidence that the city with the highest percentage of Muslims in the United States is the city where Christianity is not allowed to be represented (let alone preached) on a public sidewalk? Is it coincidence that in this city, people will say …

@rekomstop4eva- the culture dear boy is AMERICAN… they are in land of the free. The law allowed them to do reporting & filming- regardless of how Arab muslims got upset. Further- the Arabs never answered the questions…something if you knew muslims you would know always happens! And what’s u being White got to do with this- so according to Hadith was Muhammad? Members of cults r nice & friendly when u r ignorant of them; but when u ask pertinent questions they show themselves as rabid dogs!

lol they knew muslim arabs were gonna get all up n arms about this. thats why they did it. the culture of arabs is much different than others, the religion and culture are deeply embedded within one another, even christian arabs follow many islamic tradictions because of how deeply embedded it is.
I am white and i was treated with respect and had fun during this festival! meh, and i asked questions without problems haha.

The first thing that i want to say i’m Arabic guy and specially from ( Iraq ) ,their is alot of arabic people in the US NOT just Muslim people but their is christen people .The second thing and I”ll say that and I’m sure they made bad things and they afraid from .The police shouldn’t stop him .I live in AZ Phx and we have done a beautiful festval .IF i was one of the police men I’ll rest all the security .

They were being plenty peaceful. The ones who were not being peaceful were the security guards who were pushing the camera and hitting it away. They had absolutely no right to do that, as North America is a free country, and you are allowed to tape events like this. The people at the booth clearly say “No no, you can keep the camera on” but then the whole swarm of security guards in the end apparently completely disagreed. They weren’t hostile, the others were, and unjustly so.

Your motivation is anything but honorable. You claim that you are an adherant of the religion of love and peace, but you do this out of hatered. Just check out the previous comments for a proof. When you approach anyone with hostile motivation, it is only normal that they will not accommodate you.
