I know, isn’t that funny? He’s trying to make it look like no one has been in the car. I left the passenger window down just enough to get an arm through so he wouldn’t break the window like he did in a previous break-in. That was before we had a camera set up. You can see pics of that at BadThiefDOTcom.

LOL He lock’s the door before he leaves. LMAO
CrazyDood69 March 6th, 2010
Yeah, but most all the Hispanics/Mexicans there were great. I even left my wallet at a burger joint ran by Mexicans and they found it, kept it, and ALL the money was there. AND they wouldn’t accept a $20 reward! I know a lot of whites that wouldn’t do that. Although this guy is Armenian, not all are bad.
CrazyDood69 March 6th, 2010
Yeah, the camera was in plane view attached to the rear window, but was a small bullet-cam. The whole system cost me about $1,000 to build. It’s too bad there isn’t one of these you could rent.

Fair to say that vast majority of the crimes are done by blacks and Ethnics.

thatDCboy2 March 6th, 2010
Was your camera in plain view? Like could the guy breaking in see it, or was it hidden? Also how much was the camera cus I could totally use this… bad neighborhood. and the guys next to me have like 15 cars not lying and i bet they are all stolen… my truck was broken into… and i kno it was them… took my dads wallet and sold it to some other thug… and after they sold it they painted one of their cars that they used to sell it… bastards!!
1Jinxed1 March 6th, 2010
he looks like a hungry animal of some kind foridging for berrys!
CrazyDood69 March 6th, 2010
Yep, pretty much. If he had used gloves and a mask, we couldn’t have caught him on camera. BUT, if he would have done that, we would have put in better bait next time, then made sure we stayed up around the same time and ran down to bashed his head in with a BB bat, once the silent alarm was tripped. I’m glad it didn’t go that far.
BiTChSl4pPiNyOwiF3y March 6th, 2010
Should of had on a hood and a hat. Or something to mask his face. Dude had no gloves on either. He left all his finger prints on everything he touched. Am I’m missing anything?
CrazyDood69 March 6th, 2010
Thanks. Yeah, that’s something I wanted to make sure of. I made sure it was high res. when setting it up. Of course my camera was sort of in plain view. It was attached to the rear window glass and pointing. All you’d have to do is look up to see it. He missed it. Most bait cameras need to be very hidden, so you have to use something the size of a quarter. Mine was big around as a quarter, but about 3 inches long with a cable hanging out of it. So damn proud of this video!
MHCLANPS3 March 6th, 2010
Nice device you have installed there, nice clear picture aswell, Its alot clearer than the cameras they use in bait cars.
1godfather01 March 6th, 2010
Nicely done man!
CrazyDood69 March 6th, 2010
Thanks. I’m so glad I caught him, even to this day. It’s been 5 years now.

I can’t really afford to spend that much right now, maybe in the future…
Did you leave the dollar bills visible to draw the thief into the car? haha that’s awesome
CrazyDood69 March 6th, 2010
It was really a bunch of off-the-shelve stuff, and software I created. It was a lot of work to get it going and cost about $1,000. You sure you want to know how I set it up?
ThePhotoshopGuy1 March 6th, 2010
Can you show us what equipment you used and how you set up the cameras? My car was broken into last month and over $800 worth of items were stolen. I now have a camera on the roof looking down at my car but it’s not good enough to identify anybody. By the way, the video is awesome quality! Good job catching the bastard!
CrazyDood69 March 6th, 2010
We had a few dollar bills sitting in the car. That’s what he grabbed. It’s just the computer didn’t start recording until 5 seconds after it got triggered to by the motion detector. It was a defect in the software. If the software had been working properly, you would have seen him open up the door. So he must have grabbed that within the first 5 seconds. The after that you see him picking up a bag of change. This all happened in 2004 and to this day I’m pretty proud of myself.
